CBD The Remedy Dosing Study

The Importance of a Proper CBD Dosage for Optimal Benefits

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant and has been gaining a lot of popularity in recent years for its numerous health benefits. Many people are turning to CBD products to help with conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, inflammation, and more. However, to experience the full potential of CBD, it is important to take the right dosage. In this article, we will discuss the importance of a proper CBD dosage and how it can affect the benefits you receive from CBD.

Why is a Proper Dosage Important?

CBD is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and the effects can vary from person to person. The dosage you take depends on several factors such as your weight, tolerance, and the severity of your condition. Taking too much CBD can result in unpleasant side effects while taking too little will not provide you with the desired benefits.

The Endocannabinoid System

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a complex system in our bodies that helps regulate various functions such as mood, appetite, sleep, pain, and more. CBD interacts with the ECS and helps bring balance to the body. To experience the full potential of CBD, it is important to take the right dosage to activate the ECS effectively.

How to Determine the Right Dosage

Determining the right dosage of CBD can be challenging, as everyone’s body is different. The best way to find the right dosage is to start with a low dose and gradually increase it until you find the right amount that works for you. A common starting point is 2-5 mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight, and then adjust as needed.

It is also important to keep in mind that the effects of CBD can take some time to kick in, so be patient and give it time to work. If you don’t experience any benefits, you can gradually increase your dose until you find the right amount.

Factors that Affect Dosage

There are several factors that can affect the dosage of CBD you should take, including:

Body weight: The larger you are, the more CBD you will need to take to experience its benefits.

Tolerance: If you take CBD regularly, your body may develop a tolerance, and you will need to increase your dose to experience the same benefits.

Condition: The severity of your condition will also affect the amount of CBD you need to take. For example, someone with chronic pain may need a higher dose than someone with mild anxiety.

Method of consumption: The method you use to consume CBD can also affect the amount you need to take. For example, CBD oil is absorbed differently than CBD gummies, and you may need to adjust your dose accordingly.

Importance of High-Quality CBD Products

It is also important to use high-quality CBD products to ensure that you are getting the best benefits from CBD. Some lower-quality CBD products may contain harmful chemicals or contaminants that can negate the benefits of CBD. Make sure to choose a reputable brand that uses third-party lab testing to ensure the purity and potency of its products.

The intent of the Study:

Cannabidiol or CBD is increasingly available to the general public in several preparations.  The health and medicinal benefits of this botanical product need further research to validate its effect on the body for several physical conditions and ailments.  This study intends to learn the adequate dose to relieve, release, and/or reduce the physical or emotional symptoms that plague a number of us in our daily lives.

Research participants are asked to use two forms of CBDtheremedy products at a 20% discount throughout the 90-day research program.  This two-pronged method will saturate more cannabinoid receptors and allow greater distribution throughout the body and benefit.  In the event you have been using another company’s CBD, to join this study one will have to discontinue the use of the other product.  Please discontinue the use of your current CBD regimen for 2 weeks before joining this ongoing study.

All CBDtheremedy products have been third-party tested, created in an Iso 6 clean room, and supervised by a pharmacist to confirm potency and lack of contaminants.  This ongoing consistency and quality in products are necessary to document the health and medicinal effects of this botanical in several individuals and a variety of conditions and ailments.  To be a part of this research study the following expectations are described below.

Participant Expectations:

Your full name is not information we will ever collect. Instead, we choose to protect your anonymity so first and last initials are adequate on your initial intake form.  After you have submitted your consent and intake form you will be assigned a subject number that will be put on all correspondence and every measurement tool until the end of the study.  The duration of the study will span a 90-day period in which an initial evaluation of your symptom will be requested using a scale of 0-10, with 0 an anchor meaning no problem or complaint and 10 the problem or complaint is through the roof or exceeds the worse ever imaginable. Each 90-day segment will track one condition or aliment chosen.  If a second condition or aliment is requested that will require additional 90-day participation.  On the initial intake form, you can state the two conditions or aliments you wish to track and which one first.

Requirements of participation include the following:

  1. Initial intake form (initials, age, gender, weight, height, medications prescribed by a doctor currently taken, including dosage and frequency. Also, any over-the-counter medications (OTC) taken with dosage and frequency for the current condition and aliment. Qualitative written information on the impact of their condition and aliment will also be obtained pre and post-study.  Changes in medication both prescribed and OTC will be obtained after the study as well.
  2. Best email for contact and phone number. State of residence in the United States.
  3. A consent form was signed agreeing to the terms of the research study.
  4. A measurement scale with anchors 0-10, 10 the worst, was submitted initially and every week until the conclusion of the study for a total of 12 data points per participant.
  5. After the study, a written statement is requested of the benefits that have been experienced that were unforeseen and noteworthy. In addition, any change in medication therapy both OTC and prescribed at the end of the study will be collected.

Cannabidiol as a botanical compound has shown benefits physically and emotionally yet further research is needed to continue to understand the full spectrum of benefits this natural substance can deliver. This study is designed with you in mind to bring some level of relief, release, or remedy to the current state of living you have been experiencing that is less than optimal on many levels.

All correspondence will occur through an established research portal on the CBDtheremedy.com website.  Reminders will be sent weekly before your required submission of your measurement scale 0-10 on the condition or ailment you are tracking.  Also required at that time, will be the current dosage (amount consumed each time and frequency) of the 2 products you select to use.  If you chose to increase or decrease the amount you are consuming and frequency, please make a note of the date of the change in dosage and/or frequency so that it can be tracked by the research team.  Again, all correspondence with the research team will be associated with your subject number.

In the event you need to drop out of the study before the 90 days is over, your results to date will not be used in our data analysis as you were unable to complete the full study.  However, a statement on your part of why you are dropping out is requested, whether related to cost or side effects, please let us know as a research team.  Only complete data sets from subjects who finished all collection points and the 90 days will be included in the data analysis.  However, we would consider including written testimonials for the effect one did experience with the time frame they participated in.  Near the end of the study, a request for testimonials will be sent out to all study participants.

When the research results are compiled and published, if any written testimonials are solicited and you give one, your remarks will only have your initials.  Each voice matters.  In the grand scheme of learning what is the effective dose for CBD delivery, each condition and aliment matters.  We are calling on our community of patients to validate the strength, dosage, and effectiveness of CBD so the medical community through our research and documentation is aware of the benefits of CBD in the body.

We appreciate your consideration of joining our research study to better understand CBD dosing in the body.   Our Ph.D. research team will be responsible for coordinating the implementation, analysis, and reporting of results.  Our commitment to you is to continue to provide high-quality CBD and to further the scientific knowledge of CBD in the human body.
